We have roller skis with wet wheels for rainy days and wet asphalt. You get a better grip and the feeling gets better.
We have 2 types of skate PU roller skis with wet wheels:
1. Skate Pro PU – Length: 640 mm
2. Skate Elite Pro PU Men's / Women's – Length: 715 mm
Do the wheels work on wet asphalt?
Our ambassador Vetle Thyli, Team Kaffebryggeriet, has done a test of rain wheels/wet wheels compared to a pair with standard rolling resistance 2. Watch the video here:
There is significantly better grip with the wet wheels, compared to standard wheels. You will have a much better experience on wet asphalt. If you are only going to buy a pair of roller skis for skating, it is quite possible to go get wet wheels, they can also be used on dry asphalt.
