This purchase is governed by the following standard sales conditions for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. The terms of this agreement are not to be construed as limiting the statutory rights, but set out the parties’ most important rights and obligations for trade.
Terms of Sale and Delivery – IDTsports

1. Scope of Application
These terms apply to purchases made by consumers through www.idtsports.com.
They do not apply to purchases made through retailers or other points of sale.
The agreement is entered into between the buyer and IDT Solutions AS (IDTsports).
2. Products
IDTsports supplies roller skis, wheels, bindings, analysis equipment, waxing equipment (including Nova, Rillejern and ProWax products), as well as accessories.
Roller skis are sports equipment involving inherent risk, similar to other rolling training equipment. Use is at the buyer’s own responsibility and requires the necessary skill and caution.
Nova is CE marked in accordance with applicable regulations. Other products are not subject to CE marking requirements.
3. Formation of Contract
The agreement becomes binding when an order confirmation has been sent by IDTsports.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are stated inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before payment.
5. Delivery and Transfer of Risk
The risk for the goods transfers to the buyer once the goods have been received.
6. Right of Withdrawal
The buyer has a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the product must:
- Be unused
- Not have been used outdoors
- Show no signs of wear
- Be returned in its original packaging
Roller skis and wheels that have been used on asphalt, in roller ski tracks, or similar surfaces are considered used and cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal.
The buyer covers return shipping costs when exercising the right of withdrawal.
7. Complaints and Claims
Complaints must be submitted via:
www.idtsports.com/reklamasjon
The following information must be included:
- Date of purchase
- Retailer
- Product name
- Receipt
- 2–3 photos of the product
- Reason for the complaint
- Name
- Address
- Postal code / city
- Phone number
IDTsports will assess the complaint before any return is approved.
In the event of an approved complaint, IDTsports covers necessary repair costs and return shipping in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
The buyer covers shipping to IDTsports, while IDTsports covers return shipping.
IDTsports reserves the right to:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Offer a price reduction
- Cancel the purchase if the legal conditions are met
As a general rule, IDTsports will seek to repair rather than replace the product.
8. Warranty
IDTsports provides a 12-month warranty on the roller ski frame against documented manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Wear on wheels
- Uneven wear caused by intensive braking
- Use in roller ski tracks or on highly abrasive surfaces
- Damage caused by falls, collisions, or external impact
- Third-party modifications
- Replacement of bearings or parts without approval
- Incorrect mounting of bindings
Wheels are considered consumable parts. Warranty applies only in the case of documented manufacturing defects, such as rubber separating from the rim.
This warranty is provided in addition to rights under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
9. Bindings and Modifications
Bindings mounted by the customer are installed at the customer’s own risk.
Incorrect mounting, use of non-approved bindings, or modifications to the product’s construction may affect safety and may void warranty and complaint rights if damage results from such conditions.
Use of third-party wheels, bearings, or other components is at the buyer’s own responsibility.
10. Maintenance
The buyer is required to follow IDTsports’ current maintenance recommendations at all times.
A maintenance guide is published on www.idtsports.com and is considered part of these terms.
Lack of maintenance or improper use may affect safety and the right to make a complaint.
11. Safe Use
IDTsports recommends that products are used in accordance with the Roller Ski Safety Rules developed by the Norwegian Ski Federation and Trygg Trafikk:

These rules provide important safety guidance when using roller skis.
12. Competitive Use
Use of the products in competitions, races, or high-intensity organized training involves increased stress and risk.
IDTsports is not liable for damage arising from competitive use unless the damage is caused by a documented manufacturing defect.
13. Limitation of Liability
IDTsports is responsible for the product in accordance with applicable Norwegian law.
IDTsports is not liable for:
- Damage to clothing, poles, or other equipment
- Consequential damages
- Indirect losses
- Injuries resulting from falls without documented product defects
Any liability is limited to the value of the product.
14. Governing Law
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law.
